With over 18 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist working with both children and adults, Cassie has worked in the community and hospital settings. Cassie graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2001. Cassie has worked in the United Kingdom and rural Western Australia.
Cassie understands the ever-changing demands of family life, with three primary school-aged children of her own. As a result, she appreciates the importance of making Occupational Therapy goals and intervention programmes family-friendly. Cassie is committed to ensuring children and their families can achieve their personalised goals, whilst balancing other demands of family life.
Cassie has worked with children with a range of diagnoses and learning difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy and Sensory Processing difficulties. She enjoys working with children with fine motor delay, handwriting issues and difficulties with self-regulation.
In her free time, Cassie and her family spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying bike riding, time at the beach and exploring nature. During quiet times in family life, Cassie enjoys reading, baking and catching up with friends.
Cassie looks forward to working in partnership with your child and family to reach their goals!
