Claire started AIM Therapy for Children in 2009. She has now grown it to the team it is today including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists. Services are now provided from Wembley, Joondalup, Gosnells, Rockingham and Mandurah. Claire manages the clinical services, clinical team and the business.

Claire’s background includes receiving a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) with First Class Honours from Curtin University (2008). Her Honours project involved investigating a role for Occupational Therapy in an Australian Mother-Baby Unit. In 2010 Claire presented this research at the World Federation Conference in Chile and at the State Occupational Therapy Conference. Claire has provided developmental and mental health Occupational Therapy for 3 – 17-year-olds for over ten years. She has worked with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Disorder, Dysgraphia and Sensory Processing Disorder. Claire has participated in several mentoring and training programs worldwide for Occupational Therapy, business management, team management and mindset coaching. She has and is currently assisting in the supervision of fourth-year students from Curtin University and Edith Cowan University.

When she is not working she loves spending time with her 2-year-old son appreciating the small things in life, date nights with her husband, visiting family and catching up with friends often over coffee! Claire values and enjoys keeping a healthy and fit body and mind so always makes sure she finds time to exercise with her favourite activity being attending group fitness classes.

Her passion is to provide the highest quality of clinical services to all children and teens who receive services from AIM Therapy for Children. Claire is very approachable and loves to receive feedback in order to continually improve clinical services. Please don’t hesitate to contact her with any feedback you may have.
