Elysia is a fun and outgoing occupational therapist who completed her Bachelor of Science Occupational Therapy degree with first class honours, graduating from Curtin University at the end of 2015.
Throughout her time studying, Elysia worked as a Support Worker and understands the importance of trust and collaboration between the individual, family, and the therapy team when working together and supporting an individual to achieve their goals.
Following graduation, Elysia spent a short period of time working rurally before returning to Perth. In her career thus far, Elysia has gained extensive clinical experience in adult neurorehabilitation including stroke and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation in a community based setting. Elysia has also worked with adults and young adults in the community, with a variety of complex conditions receiving NDIS services. Elysia has a passion for working with children and commenced working with AIM in 2021.
Elysia is a passionate occupational therapist who enjoys working with and alongside her clients and their families, fostering great relationships that enable her and those that she works with to enjoy the journey together as they work towards achieving their goals.
In her spare time, Elysia enjoys spending time outside, travelling and camping, reading, training at the gym, and spending quality time with her family.
