Juliet Palethorpe AIM Therapy for Children

Juliet Palethorpe

Speech Pathologist

Juliet has worked with children and adolescents since graduating from Curtin University with first class honours in 2002. Her honours project investigated conversation skills and she continues to pursue an interest in research and using the current scientific evidence base to inform her clinical practice.

Juliet has worked in private practice and in both government and non-government schools with students from Kindy to high-school age. Speech, language, and literacy difficulties are her passion, and she has worked in collaboration with parents, Teachers, Education Assistants, Psychologists, and other allied health therapists to obtain the best outcomes for children.

Juliet has a special interest in literacy and is trained in Sounds-Write, That Reading Thing and The Writing Revolution. She likes nothing better than seeing a child progress and master skills that had previously been out of reach.

When she is not working, she enjoys watching movies with her two sons, swing dancing and beach walks.
