Nicole has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy which she completed at Curtin University, Perth; graduating in 2017.
Before joining AIM Therapy Nicole has worked as an Occupational Therapist within the soft tissue/ pain management role, as well as a long history providing Paediatric interventions at Thrive Therapy. Within her role at Thrive she saw a diverse client base within the paediatric setting, supporting children with developmental difficulties/ diagnosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Triple X syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing difficulties, mental health issues and behaviour management. She highly values using a close family centred and multidisciplinary approach, with a goal to empower children, caregivers and educators.
Nicole has a long history working with children and adults with disabilities. She started her work within the health care and disability sector 6 years ago. Working at Orion Services, MyPlace foundation, Autism Association WA and Baptist Care. With these roles she provided aged care, home supports, community engagement, social support and respite care for people with a diagnosis, such as, Autism Spectrum disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Down Syndrome, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Dementia and stroke patients. Nicole has extensive experience working closely to support complex clients, families and liaising within a client’s multidisciplinary care team.
In Nicole’s spare time she is a dedicated field hockey player, enjoys socialising, going to the beach and playing all sports.
