If organisation and study skills are goals for your child’s OT a thorough background history will be taken along with a comprehensive understanding about the current context and expectations for the child. Areas likely to be included in the assessment are “attention and concentration” (executive functioning and sensory processing) and “problem solving” are likely to be assessed prior to a treatment plan being put into place.
