Speech Pathologist

Georgia is a bubbly and fun speech pathologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) from Curtin University. Georgia has a strong passion for assisting individuals across their lifespan with their communication needs.

Throughout Georgia’s studies, she has had experience in early intervention to school-age populations, across a variety of settings comprising of primary schools, government services and community clinics. This allowed Georgia to support a range of paediatric clients with various conditions and diagnoses including language and motor speech delays, hearing impairments, intellectual disability, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Downs Syndrome and stuttering. Georgia has had the opportunity to facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions and work closely with the children’s caregivers in order to achieve their speech and language goals. Georgia understands and values the importance of collaborating with families as well as various other allied health disciplines to ensure the delivery of holistic client-centred services. Georgia has also participated in various volunteer work including Telethon Speech and Hearing, collecting data for a research project and Perth Children’s Hospital, assisting with their Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk programme.

In her downtime, Georgia enjoys going to the beach, training at her local gym and trying new restaurants with friends.
