When it comes to wellbeing, evidence shows that healthy relationships are important for healthy mental wellbeing.

Building stronger connections in your child’s life can increase their feelings of happiness and self-worth. If your child seems really worried, down, angry, numb, or like things ‘just aren’t right’, for a couple of weeks or more, it’s important to seek help.

Signs that your child may benefit from therapy sessions to help support their mental wellbeing:

  • Mood changes
  • Intense feelings
  • Behaviour changes
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Physical symptoms

The important thing to remember is that mental wellbeing can be managed, and there are lots of different ways to help your child feel better. We welcome you to contact us on 6150 8339 or hello@aimtherapy.com.au and ask to see a psychologist to talk about what steps you can take to help look after your child’s mental health.
