Matthew

Matthew is a registered Provisional Psychologist having completed a Master of Professional Psychology at Murdoch University.

Matthew is a friendly, calm, and patient individual always looking to promote collaboration, self-agency, and individual strengths while working towards shared goals. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based frameworks, he will help tailor an informed and adaptive approach to help support positive change.

Matthew provides assessment and therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and families presenting with social, emotional, mental health, learning and/or behavioural difficulties

Some frameworks that he can offer, but are not limited to include:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT)
  • Acceptance and commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Matthew also offers the following assessments:

  • Autism Screeners
  • ADHD Screeners
  • Memory Assessment
  • Cognitive Assessments
  • Intellectual Disability Assessment

In his spare time Matthew is a keen rock climber and has a passion for all things bicycles.
