Mia Popovsky
Mia holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, which she completed at Edith Cowan University.
Mia has experience working with children with various presentations, and her areas of interest include speech sound difficulties, early language development and Augmentative and Alternative Communication support. She completed her paediatric placements in regional community disability and primary school settings. Mia also has experience collecting research data at Telethon Kids Institute for uncovering the causes of chronic conditions during paediatric development.
Mia is passionate about supporting children to reach their potential in all aspects of life, including academic achievement, community participation, and building social relationships. She is committed to continuous learning, multidisciplinary teamwork, and delivering fun, play-based speech therapy services.
In her spare time, Mia enjoys walking her dog, being active, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
