Shannon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, which she completed at Edith Cowan University in 2009. Shannon has worked in hospital settings, rehabilitation, age-care, and community paediatrics.

Shannon is dedicated to encouraging and supporting children of all ages to lead meaningful lives and reach their potential and to support their families. As a mother of 3, she has experience and understanding of parenting and parenting of a child with a disability.

Shannon has experience working with children who have a variety of diagnoses and learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Sensory Processing Difficulties, hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Emotional Regulation Difficulties, and Developmental Coordination Disorder. Shannon is committed to continuous learning and e-learning, she views therapy as a collaborative partnership working together to achieve goals.

In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking, and the beach.
