Kimlai is an empathetic and friendly Occupational Therapist who completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy with honours at Curtin University. Kimlai is passionate about helping children to achieve their goals through evidence-based, person-centred and neuroaffirming strategies and intervention tailored to individual needs.

Before joining AIM, Kimlai worked and volunteered in areas of early intervention, paediatric and adult disability, and neurorehabilitation. Kimlai has supported children and adolescents with a range of diagnoses including Global Developmental Delay, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and Epilepsy, as well as other rare developmental and genetic conditions.

Kimlai particularly enjoys working within areas of emotional and sensory regulation, attention, self-care, play skills, fine-motor skills, handwriting and visual perception.

Outside of work, Kimlai enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, finding new brunch places, pilates, writing prose, and playing guitar!
