Carmen Tan
Carmen is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Carmen graduated with a Masters of Speech and Language Pathology at Macquarie University.
Carmen is passionate about providing therapy that is fun and engaging for clients. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients and their families to ensure that client-centred goals are achieved. Carmen is supportive of the families she works with and ensures that all achievements, great or small, are celebrated. She understands and values the importance of collaborating with families as well as various other allied health disciplines to ensure the delivery of holistic services.
Carmen believes that all children have the potential to excel if provided with the right level of support. Carmen has had experience working with clients with a range of disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay and Down Syndrome. Carmen has a passion for working closely with families in Early Intervention. She also enjoys working with school-aged children in the areas of speech, language, and social communication.
In her spare time, Carmen enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on walks, and trying out new restaurants.
