Gabby Widdeson
Gabby has a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology), which she completed at Curtin University in 2019.
She enjoys working with children and families in a collaborative and affirming approach to reach their goals and to share and participate in the activities they enjoy. She believes in individualised support for clients as every client and family is different.
Gabby has experience working with children who have a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Language Disorder and children with anxious presentations. She enjoys using visual supports and multimodal communication in sessions and has experience in supporting hi-tech AAC device applications.
Gabby is committed to continuous learning to provide evidence-based therapy to support her clients and committed to continuous scrolling of social media for ideas to make it fun.
In her spare time, Gabby enjoys spending time with family and friends, sunset walks, and the beach.
She looks forward to working alongside you and your child to achieve their goals!
