If participating in a wider variety of occupations (or reducing one occupation that is impeding on other occupations (eg. gaming) throughout the day is a goal of your son/daughter’s OT, a comprehensive history will first be taken, plus a variety of assessments to identify impacting factors prior to a therapy plan being put into place.

Occupational balance is defined as a way of being, rather than a specific activity of task, and achieved by taking part in daily activities that do not overwhelm, and result in feelings of positivity, satisfactions and achievement.
